Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris seeks a Logistics Assistant (work‑study). Support warehouse operations, inventory and secure handling of high‑value jewellery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist daily warehouse operations: receiving, inspecting and registering incoming shipments with strict traceability.
- Prepare and pick orders for boutiques, ateliers and external partners, ensuring accuracy and appropriate packaging for high-value items.
- Execute stock movements and cycle counts; reconcile physical inventory with system records and report discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation (shipping/receiving records, delivery notes, certificates) and update the WMS or inventory ledger.
- Support secure storage and handling procedures for high-value goods, adhering to confidentiality and security protocols.
- Coordinate with boutiques, production ateliers and transport partners to schedule shipments and returns.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality control and loss prevention.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a logistics, supply chain, transport or warehousing diploma (BTS/DUT/Licence professionnelle) suitable for an alternance/work‑study programme.
- Methodical, numerate and detail-oriented with a demonstrated aptitude for accurate record-keeping.
- High level of discretion and understanding of security requirements when handling valuable items.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills; able to coordinate with internal teams and external carriers.
- Physical ability to perform warehouse duties and lift moderate weights in compliance with safety rules.

Experience
Previous experience or internships in warehouse, logistics or stock management is advantageous; prior exposure to WMS or handling valuable goods is a plus.
Education
Currently pursuing a qualification in logistics, supply chain, transport or a related field (BTS/DUT/Licence professionnelle or equivalent).
