Van Cleef & Arpels in Hong Kong is hiring an Intern to support boutique operations, client services and visual merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily boutique operations: assist with client welcome, appointment preparation and in-store presentation under the supervision of senior staff.
- Prepare and maintain client files and CRM records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of client information.
- Assist with stock handling, back-of-house organisation and basic inventory reconciliation following established procedures.
- Contribute to visual merchandising and window displays, ensuring presentation standards reflect maison aesthetics.
- Support events and private client appointments, coordinating logistics and providing on-the-day assistance.
- Perform administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, and preparation of product documentation and sales materials.
- Undertake product and brand training to build knowledge of gemstones, watch and jewellery techniques and maison heritage.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in luxury management, marketing, retail, art history, hospitality or a related discipline.
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills appropriate for luxury client interaction.
- High level of discretion and reliability when handling sensitive client information and high-value merchandise.
- Proactive attitude, strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Right to work in Hong Kong SAR for the duration of the internship.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail, hospitality or luxury brand experience is advantageous but not mandatory; internships or short placements in client-facing environments will be considered positively.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university or specialised programme in a relevant discipline (luxury management, marketing, art history, hospitality or similar).
