Van Cleef & Arpels — Hong Kong: Intern position supporting boutique operations, client services and merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support boutique and sales teams with daily operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, stock handling and inventory reconciliation.
- Assist client advisors with clienteling activities: preparing client appointments, maintaining CRM notes, and coordinating follow-ups under supervision.
- Contribute to visual merchandising and window setup to ensure brand presentation and seasonal displays meet maison standards.
- Prepare product documentation, price lists and briefing materials; catalogue incoming merchandise and assist with tagging and secure storage.
- Support events and private client appointments logistics, liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Compile basic sales and activity reports, analyse simple metrics and present findings to the store manager or mentor.
- Undertake product and heritage training to develop technical knowledge of stones, settings and watch movements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a tertiary programme in business, marketing, luxury management, art history or a related discipline.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, discretion and a polished professional demeanour appropriate for high‑jewellery clientele.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrates organisational aptitude and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Authorised to work in Hong Kong for the duration of the internship.

Experience
No extensive professional experience required; prior exposure to luxury retail, hospitality or client‑facing roles is advantageous. Demonstrable enthusiasm for high jewellery and hands‑on retail tasks will be valued.
Education
University enrolment or recent graduate in business, marketing, luxury management, art history, or a related field.
