Van Cleef & Arpels seeks an HR Administration Officer in Paris — permanent role supporting employee administration, contracts and HR operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee administrative lifecycle: contracts, amendments, renewals and personnel file maintenance in accordance with French labour law.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including statutory declarations, badge access, induction scheduling and equipment provisioning.
  • Serve as primary liaison with payroll providers and internal finance teams to ensure accurate, timely payroll and social contributions reconciliation.
  • Administer absence and leave management (sick leave, parental leave, paid time off), track attendance and prepare related reporting.
  • Maintain and update HRIS and Excel-based records; produce regular operational HR metrics and ad hoc reports for HR leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR/CNIL and confidentiality standards for all HR data and employee communications.
  • Support line managers with HR procedures, contractual queries and routine employee relations matters; escalate complex issues to HRBP/HR Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Typically 3+ years of hands-on HR administration experience, ideally within luxury retail, hospitality or a corporate environment.
  • Solid knowledge of French labour law and social contribution schemes; practical experience with contracts and statutory reporting.
  • Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Discretion and high standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Fluency in French and strong professional command of English (spoken and written) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using an HRIS; familiarity with GDPR/CNIL requirements.

Experience
