Van Cleef & Arpels — HR Administration Intern in Paris. Internship supporting personnel administration, onboarding and HRIS duties for the high-jewelry maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day personnel administration: prepare and maintain employee files, employment contracts, amendments and statutory documents in compliance with internal procedures.
- Perform HRIS data entry and ensure accuracy of personnel records, supporting periodic audits and data clean-up projects.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of welcome packs, contractual formalities and coordination with IT, facilities and payroll teams.
- Prepare standard HR correspondence, reports and templates (letters, attestations, internal communications) and manage confidential documentation.
- Respond to routine employee enquiries and escalate complex issues to HR managers; liaise with payroll and external providers as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative workflows and support ad‑hoc HR projects (reporting, integrations, filing systems).
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or related discipline.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and an ability to manage confidential information.
- Working knowledge of French employment terminology and administrative processes; professional-level French is strongly preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to draft clear, courteous HR correspondence.
- Prior administrative or internship experience in HR, payroll support or an office environment is advantageous.
