Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris seeks a Group Head, Marketing & Business Development — High Jewellery to lead strategy and client growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the marketing and business development strategy for High Jewellery to drive client acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
- Lead a cross‑functional team and coordinate with regional boutique managers, product, CRM, digital and retail operations to deliver omnichannel campaigns and clienteling programmes.
- Develop and manage go‑to‑market plans for High Jewellery launches, private viewings, trunk shows and VIP events, ensuring exceptional client experiences.
- Oversee budget allocation, commercial forecasting and KPI tracking; prepare regular performance reports and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with external creative agencies, PR partners and specialist vendors; ensure brand consistency and elevated creative execution.
- Leverage market and client insights to identify new business opportunities, partnerships and service innovations tailored to ultra‑high‑value clients.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in marketing and business development within high jewellery or ultra‑luxury jewellery/horology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and to manage complex, high‑stakes client programmes and events.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and KPI management.
- Exceptional client relationship skills and discretion when dealing with VIP and HNW clientele.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to executive stakeholders.

Senior marketing/business development professional with substantial experience in luxury high jewellery or comparable haute‑luxury categories; proven success building client programmes, leading teams and delivering measurable commercial results.
Education
