Van Cleef & Arpels seeks an FP&A Director/Senior Manager in Tokyo to lead Maison FP&A and strengthen business partnering across Van Cleef & Arpels and Buccellati. The role oversees budgeting, strategic financial planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis, process improvement and team development. Full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the FP&A team supporting Van Cleef & Arpels and Buccellati, strengthening business partnerships with the Maisons.
- Drive synergies across the Maisons and revamp processes to enhance operational excellence.
- Manage and build the annual budget and mid- to long-term strategic financial plans.
- Prepare monthly reporting and action-oriented variance analyses.
- Provide ongoing forecasts in collaboration with key decision-makers.
- Develop financial models for planning, investment and return-on-investment analyses.
- Identify operational issues, recommend corrective actions, and continuously identify and implement process improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and other management presentations.
- Provide financial analysis and support to various business groups.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure reports comply with IFRS, rules and regulations, and are timely, accurate and useful.
- Support or lead major Van Cleef & Arpels, Buccellati and Finance projects as required.
- Manage and develop the Maison FP&A team, currently comprising one staff member.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics and/or Business Administration; an MBA or CPA is a plus.
- At least 8 years of FP&A or Controlling experience, including at least 3 years as an FP&A Senior Lead at a global company; Retail or luxury industry experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership, superior analytical skills and a 360-degree business perspective.
