Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a Colored Stone Quality Control Manager in Paris to lead and structure quality control for all colored stones, develop the inspection team, manage supplier and workshop relationships, oversee broken-stone replacements, and contribute to inspections. The role requires a Gemology degree specializing in colored stones, relevant quality-control and management experience, professional English, and frequent travel in France and Europe; it is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the quality control team.
- Manage and structure quality control operations for all colored stones for the Maison.
- Manage supplier and workshop relationships.
- Manage the broken-stone replacement activity.
- Participate directly in the quality control of colored stones.
Qualifications
- Gemology degree with a specialization in colored stones.
- Proven experience in sorting and quality control of stones at a jewelry Maison, lapidary, or gemstone dealer.
- Successful management experience, with the ability to lead, unite, and develop a team on a daily basis.
- Recognized technical expertise in stones.
- Professional English proficiency.
- Proficiency in Pack Office, Excel, and SAP.
- Willingness to travel frequently in France and Europe.
