Van Cleef & Arpels Osaka hiring Boutique Operations Associate to manage inventory, cash, and customer service operations in luxury jewelry environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage boutique inventory operations, including tracking stock levels, processing daily/periodic/annual inventory counts, and updating product labels following price changes
- Oversee all cash procedures, deposits, refunds, and tax-exempt transactions; serve as primary liaison with group finance, administration, IT, and logistics departments
- Reconcile credit card statements with internal accounting records and manage documentation for internal audits
- Administer customer service operations, including managing product movements with service platforms and reviewing inventory items for repairs and maintenance
- Participate in all DARE system training modules as the boutique's primary user and provide system support and IT liaison services to boutique staff
- Handle customer-facing sales and service responsibilities as required by store operations
Qualifications
- Proficiency in retail management systems and point-of-sale software
- Strong numeracy and accounting reconciliation capabilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury retail environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory and financial documentation
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in luxury retail operations, boutique administration, or inventory management is preferred. Familiarity with jewelry retail environments or high-value goods handling is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education in business administration, retail management, or finance is beneficial.
