Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Boutique Assistant in New York to support Sales Associates, Reception, daily boutique operations, and an exceptional client experience. Reporting to the Assistant Boutique Manager, the role includes jewelry and boutique setup, supply replenishment, client greeting, and merchandise care; the hourly salary range is $30–$32, and the role is bonus eligible.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional client experience by supporting Sales Associates, maintaining daily boutique operations, assisting Reception, and actively participating in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony.
- Replenish selling-floor supplies, including shopping bags and wrapping paper, to support smooth operations.
- Participate in boutique setup and breakdown at opening and closing.
- Handle morning jewelry setup and evening jewelry pulling, and maintain backstock.
- Accurately replenish point-of-sale stations and desks.
- Partner with Management and Boutique Administrators to ensure merchandise is kept in proper condition.
- Greet clients and assist with Reception duties.
- Follow Management and Corporate protocols for the client experience.
- Uphold the Van Cleef & Arpels image through professional conduct and adherence to the Service Charter.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication and verbal skills for interacting effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment and provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.

Experience
At least two years of experience in a fast-paced luxury environment is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
