Van Cleef & Arpels Boutique Assistant role in New York. Support luxury retail operations at Madison Avenue flagship boutique, $30-$32/hr plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle daily replenishment of selling floor supplies including shopping bags, wrapping paper, and promotional materials to ensure seamless operations
- Participate in opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown of retail displays and client service stations
- Execute proper handling of morning jewelry display setup and evening jewelry securing, maintaining accurate backstock inventory
- Accurately backfill point-of-sale stations and workstations with necessary supplies and materials
- Maintain strong operational partnership with management and boutique administrators to ensure merchandise preservation and condition compliance
- Greet clients upon arrival and assist with reception duties, directing inquiries and managing client flow
- Adhere rigorously to all client experience protocols and service standards established by management and corporate
- Maintain professional deportment consistent with Van Cleef & Arpels brand image and Service Charter requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum two years of experience in a fast-paced luxury retail environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Proficiency in computer systems and point-of-sale technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with SAP software preferred
- Multilingual fluency beneficial
