The Boutique Assistant supports Sales Associates, daily boutique operations, Reception, and the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony. Responsibilities include replenishment, jewelry set-up and pulling, backstock and merchandise care, client greetings, and adherence to the Service Charter. Salary is negotiated based on skills and prior work experience; valid U.S. work authorization is required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Sales Associates in delivering an exceptional client experience, maintain daily boutique operations, assist Reception, and participate consistently in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony.
- Replenish selling-floor supplies, including shopping bags and wrapping paper, as needed.
- Participate in boutique opening and closing set-up and breakdown.
- Handle morning jewelry set-up and evening jewelry pull, and maintain backstock.
- Accurately replenish point-of-sale stations and desks.
- Partner with Management and Boutique Administrators to ensure merchandise is kept in proper condition.
- Greet clients and assist with Reception duties.
- Follow Management and Corporate protocols for the client experience.
- Uphold the Van Cleef & Arpels image through professional conduct and adherence to the Service Charter.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Excellent communication and verbal abilities for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Fluency in multiple languages is beneficial.
- Proactive and adaptable approach in a dynamic retail environment, with a focus on exceptional customer service and boutique support.
- Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.
Skills
Experience
At least two years of experience in a fast-paced luxury environment is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
