Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Boutique Assistant in London (New Bond Street) to deliver exceptional client service in high-jewellery retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service to high-net-worth and walk-in clientele at the New Bond Street boutique.
- Support the sales cycle from appointment management and product presentation to transaction processing and after-sales follow-up.
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive clienteling and accurate CRM record-keeping.
- Present and demonstrate high-jewellery and watch collections with meticulous care, adhering to handling and security protocols for high-value items.
- Maintain boutique floor standards and visual merchandising in line with brand directives.
- Assist with inventory control, stock reconciliation and receipt/dispatch of samples and repairs.
- Support in-store events, private viewings and trunk shows as required.
- Achieve individual and store sales KPIs while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in luxury retail, preferably with jewellery, watches or high-value accessories.
- Impeccable personal presentation, high emotional intelligence and strong client-facing skills.
- Numerical accuracy and experience handling high-value transactions.
- Discretion, confidentiality and proven ability to operate in a high-security retail environment.
- Legal eligibility to work in the UK.

Minimum 1–2 years of direct experience in luxury retail or fine jewellery environments, with familiarity handling high-value merchandise and working toward sales targets.
Education
Secondary education (A-levels / equivalent); vocational training or certification in retail or luxury sales preferred.
