Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Boutique Assistant supports Sales Associates, Reception, and daily boutique operations while delivering an exceptional client experience and participating in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony. The role includes supply replenishment, jewelry setup and backstock care, merchandise maintenance, and adherence to client-experience protocols and the Service Charter. The hourly rate is $25.00–$27.00.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional client experience by supporting Sales Associates, maintaining daily boutique operations, assisting Reception, and participating consistently and actively in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony.
- Replenish selling-floor supplies, including shopping bags and wrapping paper, as needed.
- Assist with boutique setup and breakdown at opening and closing.
- Handle morning jewelry setup and evening jewelry pulling, and maintain backstock.
- Accurately restock POS stations and desks.
- Partner with Management and Boutique Administrators to ensure merchandise is maintained in proper condition.
- Greet clients and assist with Reception duties.
- Follow Management and Corporate protocols for the client experience.
- Uphold the Van Cleef & Arpels image through professional conduct and adherence to the Service Charter.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication and verbal skills for interacting effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive and adaptable approach in a dynamic retail environment.
- Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.
Skills
Experience
At least two years of experience in a fast-paced luxury environment preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
