The Boutique Assistant reports to the Boutique Director and supports Sales Associates, Reception, daily boutique operations and the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony. Responsibilities include jewelry setup and handling, backstock and supply replenishment, point-of-sale station upkeep, merchandise care and adherence to client-experience protocols and the Service Charter. This is a full-time role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Sales Associates and assist with Reception duties, including greeting clients.
- Maintain the boutique’s daily operations, including replenishing selling-floor supplies such as shopping bags and wrapping paper.
- Participate in setting up and breaking down the boutique at opening and closing.
- Handle morning jewelry setup and evening jewelry pulling, and maintain backstock.
- Accurately replenish point-of-sale stations and desks.
- Partner with Management and Boutique Administrators to ensure merchandise is kept in proper condition.
- Follow Management and Corporate protocols for the client experience.
- Uphold the Van Cleef & Arpels image through professional conduct and adherence to the Service Charter.
- Participate consistently and actively in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in a fast-paced luxury environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication and verbal skills for interacting effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Fluency in multiple languages is beneficial for serving a diverse clientele.
- Proactive and adaptable approach in a dynamic retail environment, with a focus on exceptional customer service and boutique support.
- Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 27 to USD 30 per hour.
