Van Cleef & Arpels is hiring a Boutique Assistant in Bal Harbour: deliver high-jewellery client service, support sales and manage boutique operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver the maison’s signature level of personalised client service in-person and by phone; welcome clients, manage appointments and run private viewings.
- Develop and nurture client relationships through proactive clienteling, follow-ups and personalised outreach to build long-term loyalty and repeat business.
- Achieve boutique sales objectives and KPIs by advising clients on high-jewellery and watch collections, presenting product stories and closing sales with discretion and professionalism.
- Maintain impeccable merchandising and presentation standards; ensure windows, displays and counters reflect current visual directives and product rotations.
- Manage inventory and stock movements accurately; perform regular reconciliations, receive deliveries and support secure handling of high-value merchandise.
- Operate point-of-sale procedures, process transactions and assist with returns, repairs and after-sales service in accordance with maison protocols.
- Support boutique events, trunk shows and VIP appointments; coordinate with concierge teams and cross-border boutiques as required.
- Adhere to security, loss-prevention and compliance procedures for handling valuable items and sensitive client information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail or high-jewellery sales; demonstrated ability to develop and retain high-value clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, polished presentation and an aptitude for consultative selling.
- High degree of discretion, integrity and professionalism when handling confidential client matters and valuable inventory.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to accuracy in cash handling and inventory reconciliation.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and willingness to pass required background and security checks.

Experience
Typically requires prior experience in luxury retail or high-jewellery sales with a verifiable track record of client development and meeting sales targets; boutique or boutique-adjacent experience strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or tertiary studies in hospitality, luxury retail, fashion or related fields preferred.
