Van Cleef & Arpels — Geneva: Assistant Supply Planner (internship) to support demand forecasting, inventory and MRP for the high‑jewellery maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the supply planning team in preparing short‑ and mid‑term demand forecasts and replenishment plans for finished jewellery and components.
- Assist with inventory analysis and optimisation to balance service levels and stock efficiency across boutiques, ateliers and central warehouses.
- Participate in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) runs and help maintain accurate master data in the ERP system.
- Prepare regular reporting and KPI dashboards to monitor forecast accuracy, inventory turns and service performance.
- Coordinate with procurement, production ateliers and retail operations to follow up on open orders, lead times and delivery schedules.
- Contribute to cross‑functional projects aimed at improving planning processes, data quality and supply chain responsiveness.
- Support ad hoc analyses and scenario modelling to assess the impact of promotional events, product launches or supply disruptions.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and demonstrated numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions and pivot tables); familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
- Effective communicator able to work with cross‑functional stakeholders in procurement, production and retail.
- Fluent in French and professional working proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
- Available for the full duration of the internship and legally authorised to intern in Switzerland.

Previous internships or coursework in supply chain, planning, procurement or logistics are preferred but not mandatory; candidate should demonstrate practical analytical experience through projects or prior trainee roles.
Education
Enrolment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
