Van Cleef & Arpels seeks an experienced Jewelry Manufacturing Artisan in Beaune, France to perform precision component operations with uncompromising attention to quality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing operations on jewelry components in strict accordance with quality, time, and safety specifications
- Operate complex machinery, adjusting parameters to achieve optimal quality and productivity outcomes
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment systems; execute preventive maintenance routines and emergency repairs
- Conduct complex technical analyses, quality tests, and comprehensive inspections requiring independent judgment
- Assist in the installation of advanced systems and perform equipment inspections with guidance
- Generate solutions to recurring operational inefficiencies and workflow bottlenecks
- Organize and coordinate work schedules to ensure efficient task completion across production cycles
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures; identify and mitigate workplace risks
- Contribute to knowledge development and skill enhancement through formal training and peer coaching
- Access and utilize internal communications systems to retrieve operational specifications and procedures
Qualifications
- Upper Secondary School education (Baccalauréat or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in jewelry manufacturing or fine artisanal production
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong technical proficiency with specialized jewelry production machinery
- High level of independent judgment in quality assessment and problem-solving
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance protocols
