Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and productionize machine learning and AI solutions that support clienteling, visual search, image quality assessment, recommendation engines and operational forecasting.
- Collaborate with product, retail, merchandise and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and measurable KPIs.
- Build and maintain MLOps pipelines including model training, validation, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring and model governance.
- Implement computer vision workflows for high‑resolution jewellery imagery and ensure models meet strict accuracy, robustness and explainability requirements.
- Optimize infrastructure and cost for training and inference across cloud and on‑prem environments; containerize services and manage orchestration.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with local regulations when designing data flows and training procedures; document models, experiments and technical decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline; Master’s or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Proven track record (typically 3+ years) delivering production ML/AI systems end‑to‑end in a commercial environment.
- Strong software engineering foundations with production experience in model deployment, infrastructure and MLOps.
- Solid understanding of computer vision, deep learning and classical ML techniques applied to image and tabular data.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, stakeholder communication and the ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
- Fluency in English; French or another European language advantageous for cross‑functional collaboration in Geneva and client‑facing projects.
