Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a 5-Axis CNC Machinist for its Aurigane workshop in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. The role involves machine setup, production, quality inspection, troubleshooting and equipment maintenance; the workshop provides training. Full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up machines and make the necessary adjustments to ensure consistent quality and uninterrupted production.
- Actively participate in producing parts outside the development phase.
- Monitor the quality of machined parts through regular, precise visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Identify machining defects, analyze their causes, and make the necessary adjustments.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a role involving machining on 5-axis CNC machines.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, curiosity, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
- Interest in Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry creations.
- Proficiency in CNC milling and turning techniques.
- Knowledge of FANUC controls.
- Knowledge of FANUC robots is an advantage.
