Role & Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash accounts
- Reconcile and record concession settlements and other cash-related transactions
- Reconcile store credits, sales deposits, and related accounts
- Investigate and resolve chargebacks, payment disputes, and fraud issues
- Reconcile intercompany accounts receivable and payable balances
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with fixed asset accounting and journal entries
- Support monthly sales tax filings and compliance requirements
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc accounting assignments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
- 1+ year of SAP experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Skills
Experience
3+ years of corporate accounting experience, including hands-on involvement with bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and close processes. Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems (specifically SAP) and financial software. Prior experience in a retail or luxury goods environment is advantageous but not required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
