Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the cascading of retail operation manuals with effective training of the store team
- Ensure proper control over the execution of retail operation policies and procedures and act as guarantor of their implementation
- Ensure effective organization of sellable products in the store to support the sales process and minimize client waiting time
- Oversee the ordering process and management of non-sellable products including stationery, packaging, and uniforms to guarantee proper brand representation while optimizing costs
- Ensure timely management of product intake and outflow, coordinating with relevant counterparts to optimize stock capacity, maintain proper stock rotation, and deliver exceptional client service
- Oversee omnichannel-related activities (ship from store, buy on behalf, click and reserve) and ensure they are followed up according to agreed service levels
- Leverage company tools and systems (Smart XP, MY-V XP, PRISM, SAP, Training App, After Sales App, Microsoft Office) to streamline store front-end and back-end activities
- Guarantee regular execution of cycle counts and stock-takes involving the store team with clear roles and responsibilities
- Ensure proper reconciliation of stock discrepancies and promptly share any stock loss, theft cases, or abnormal stock adjustment cases for approval
- Define action plans to improve performance through loss prevention activities and regular audits of stock movements
- Implement solid control over merchandise by promptly identifying defective or damaged items
- Ensure proper product handling and care to avoid damages and missed sales opportunities
- Assist team members in managing after-sales processes including client returns, repairs, and complaints while ensuring utmost client care
- Oversee audits of POS usage and back-office activities to ensure compliance with global and local procedures
- Support the Store Manager with monitoring of retail costs for back-end activities and identification of cost-saving opportunities
- Oversee collateral activities such as cleaning and security to ensure service levels meet company standards
- Ensure colleagues use company assets and facilities with full respect and care and promptly inform maintenance teams of maintenance needs
- Stay informed of loss prevention challenges and collaborate with relevant departments to address and resolve them
- Train, nurture, and motivate the team to achieve the highest level of efficiency while creating a stimulating and results-oriented work environment
- Add value to the hiring and onboarding of all back-of-house teams while educating and training them on operational standards and inventory management
Qualifications
- Expertise in managing back-of-house operations and ensuring compliance with guidelines
- Strong ability to maintain accurate inventory, oversee stockroom organization, and implement effective stock flow practices
- Competence in creating and supervising loss prevention action plans and conducting audits
- Proven leadership and team development experience in a luxury retail environment
- Advanced proficiency in retail management systems and POS software
- Excellent communication skills with ability to establish dialogue with corporate functions and external stakeholders

Experience
Proven experience in retail operations management within a luxury fashion environment, with demonstrated success in inventory management, back-of-house team leadership, and operational excellence. Experience with omnichannel retail processes and proficiency in retail management systems is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
