Valentino is seeking a Product Development Intern for its Product Development Office in Scandicci. The intern supports prototype and collection-sample development, supplier coordination, technical information management, and collection handover to production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor development activities for prototypes and collection samples, following the collection schedule and guidance from the Style Office.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to gather technical information from accessories development and raw materials and semi-finished products offices.
- Catalogue prototype and sample photographs to verify product conformity.
- After Style prototype launches, manage information transfers, technical sheets for suppliers, and related timelines.
- Analyze prototype defect correction and relay information to suppliers.
- Monitor development progress and production of collection samples.
- Participate in defect correction for collection samples.
- Prepare the collection presentation for production.
- Manage delivery and other information files for merchandising.
- Transfer prototype and sample information to the Technical Master Data and Costing Office.

- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
