Valentino seeks a Marketing and Communications Legal Counsel to act as the global legal partner to its Marketing and Communications Department, supporting fashion shows, events, advertising campaigns and talent relations. The role drafts and reviews marketing and communications contracts, provides legal and regulatory guidance, and supports policy updates and file archiving. The position is governed by the Tessile Industria National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL).
Role & Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts for marketing and communications services, including special projects such as collaborations, partnerships and co-branding; agreements for fashion shows, advertising campaigns, lookbooks and events; vendor agreements; and agreements with talent, celebrities and influencers.
- Provide general legal support to the Marketing and Communications Department as a business partner.
- Conduct legal research into doctrine and case law, advising on compliance and regulatory matters related to communications and marketing activities.
- Assist with reviewing and updating internal policies and implementing file archiving.
Qualifications
- Fluent legal Italian and English; French is a plus.
- Admission to the bar is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure, and confidence working with multiple stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in commercial contracts, ideally in fashion, luxury or media, in a law firm or in-house; experience in Marketing and Communications is a strong plus.
