Valentino seeks an IT Workplace Service Delivery Specialist to manage and evolve IT services supporting retail, corporate, and industrial users across the global store network. The role encompasses operational coordination of support services, vendor management, and oversight of critical IT tools and processes, with particular emphasis on delivering seamless Digital Employee Experience (DEX) through AI-powered solutions. The candidate will oversee the complete store lifecycle—from openings and relocations to closures—ensuring end-to-end visibility across applications, infrastructure, connectivity, and point-of-sale systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment between in-store and corporate technology platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor IT Workplace services supporting the Retail business, ensuring consistent service quality and performance across all locations
- Manage IT vendors, including Service Desk providers and technology partners, with focus on SLA compliance and service excellence
- Oversee the evolution and governance of the ITSM platform, maintaining process documentation and configuration standards
- Manage and continuously improve existing ITIL processes, including Change Management and Demand Management
- Monitor service KPIs and SLAs to ensure service quality and performance against defined metrics
- Support IT Workplace projects, including rollouts, new tools, and self-service portals
- Oversee IT services supporting the store network, ensuring end-to-end visibility across applications and operational processes
- Manage IT aspects of the store lifecycle, including site readiness, connectivity, hardware deployment, POS setup, go-live activities, and decommissioning
- Coordinate vendors and collaborate with Retail IT teams (Digital Applications, POS Applications, etc.) to ensure successful delivery and issue resolution
- Contribute to alignment and consistency between in-store solutions and corporate technology platforms
- Act as the operational point of contact for Retail and Store Operations stakeholders
- Manage the device lifecycle across the organization
- Support the definition and adoption of AI and automation solutions for service management and monitoring
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT Workplace, End User Computing, or Service Delivery roles with significant Retail exposure
- Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms, preferably ServiceNow and/or HaloITSM
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and support tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Knowledge of retail systems and POS solutions (both hardware and software) with solid understanding of in-store operations
- Understanding of Retail processes and the store lifecycle (openings, relocations, and closures)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (including Change Management and Demand Management) and/or relevant certifications
- Fluent command of English with willingness to travel across Italy and Europe

Minimum 2–3 years of progressive experience in IT Workplace, End User Computing, or Service Delivery roles with significant exposure to retail operations and multi-site environments. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of managing vendor relationships, optimizing support services, and successfully coordinating complex IT projects in fast-paced, geographically distributed organizations.
Education
No specific formal education requirement stated; however, ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) or equivalent professional certifications in IT Service Management are preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 35,000 per annum.
