This internship at Maison Valentino offers integrated exposure to both financial processes and information technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide operational support to the Finance and IT teams based in Milan, contributing to the effective management of SAP systems that underpin accounting, controlling, and reporting functions. Responsibilities include assisting with monthly closing activities, supporting user assistance for finance applications, and participating in testing activities related to SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for routine IT Finance activities and day-to-day operations
- Assist in the management and maintenance of Finance applications and systems, including ERP, reporting, and controlling tools
- Support monthly closing activities and verify accounting data accuracy
- Collaborate in the collection, analysis, and reconciliation of financial and economic data
- Provide first-level assistance to Finance users, including ticket management and issue reporting
- Update process documentation and operational procedures to reflect system changes
- Assist with application testing activities related to SAP S/4HANA enhancements and updates
- Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (ongoing or recently completed) in Economics, Computer Science, Management Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in finance processes and information systems
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated analytical mindset with interest in data analysis
- Accuracy, reliability, and strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Fluent command of English

Experience
Interest in and familiarity with finance processes and information systems; academic exposure to financial or IT concepts preferred.
Education
