Stock Keeper position at Valentino, La Roca, Spain. Support sales operations with inventory management, stock organization, and after-sales product handling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain efficient organization of sellable and non-sellable products in the store and manage merchandise flows
- Provide rapid replenishment support to sales teams and process deliveries and transfers within due dates
- Conduct regular cycle counts and annual stock-takes to maintain accurate inventory records
- Track stock discrepancies, reconcile inventory variances, and promptly report stock loss, thefts, or unusual adjustments
- Perform regular audits of stock movements including stolen merchandise, damaged items, in-transit inventory, and consignment stock
- Implement quality control measures by identifying and managing defective or damaged merchandise
- Support Store Managers with orders of operational materials including stationary, packaging, and uniforms
- Process omnichannel ship-from-store orders when applicable
- Assist colleagues with after-sales processes including client returns, repairs, and complaint resolution
- Support the Store Manager in implementing Loss Prevention policies and managing inventory challenges
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management or stock operations in a retail environment
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and retail software platforms
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to accurately conduct stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Physical capability to handle merchandise and perform lifting tasks
- Knowledge of loss prevention principles and procedures
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in retail stock operations, inventory management, or warehouse/stockroom roles in a luxury or fast-paced retail environment is preferred.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; retail or operations certifications are advantageous.
