Valentino SPA seeks an experienced Garment Seamstress to join the production team in Scandicci on a maternity cover contract. The role involves retrieving pattern packets and pre-cut fabrics, reading technical specifications, executing garment construction using linear and specialized sewing machinery, and transferring completed pieces to the pressing department. The position requires prior experience in high-end apparel manufacturing and proficiency with various sewing techniques and equipment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Retrieve pattern packets, technical specifications, and pre-cut fabrics for each garment order
- Read and interpret technical sewing cards containing construction details and specifications
- Construct garments using linear and specialized sewing machinery according to production standards
- Transfer completed sewn pieces to the pressing department for finishing
- Maintain quality standards and adherence to Maison Valentino specifications throughout production
Qualifications
- Prior experience in analogous roles within high-end apparel manufacturing
- Proficiency with standard and specialized sewing machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical sewing specifications and pattern cards
