Valentino Finance Data Analyst Intern, Dubai. 12-month role supporting retail KPI tracking, financial reporting, and business analytics in luxury fashion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports tracking retail KPIs (sales, sell-through rates, average transaction value, stock management) across GCC boutiques
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting by consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources including ERP, POS, and Excel
- Assist in managing databases during month-end closing activities including sales reconciliation, commissions, marketing and communication expenses, and fixed costs tracking
- Support Financial Planning activities including the preparation of Budget and Forecast scenarios
- Contribute to the automation of recurring reporting processes using Power BI or equivalent tools
- Assist in ad hoc business analyses supporting accounting, logistics, and retail teams to inform strategic decisions on new openings, budget reviews, and investment cases
- Collaborate with Finance, Retail, and Operations teams to improve data quality and consistency
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program (Bac+4/5) in Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field at a leading business school or engineering school
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in Power BI, Python, or SQL
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Results-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Genuine interest in the luxury retail industry and its commercial dynamics
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Fluency in English

No prior professional experience required; however, candidates should demonstrate a strong foundation in financial analysis, data manipulation, and business analytics through academic coursework or relevant projects.
