Valentino seeks an Europe Events Manager in Milan to drive brand events strategy and execute VIC activations and product launches across Europe.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the European events strategy in alignment with global guidelines and Valentino brand positioning
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of VIC events, clienteling activations, product launches, in-store experiences, and partnership animations across European markets
  • Oversee and coordinate the European events calendar, ensuring prioritization and coherence across all markets
  • Lead operational planning of events, including timelines, production plans, and detailed run-of-show documentation for each activation
  • Identify, select, and manage external suppliers (catering, production agencies, entertainment, logistics), ensuring alignment with Valentino standards and budget guidelines
  • Source and evaluate new vendors to enhance event quality, creativity, and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate closely with store teams, Visual Merchandising, and Store Operations to ensure proper in-store execution and compliance with brand guidelines
  • Supervise on-site execution when required, ensuring flawless delivery and real-time problem-solving
  • Partner with the Client Engagement (CRM) team to define targeted event strategies based on client segmentation and insights
  • Design events to support client acquisition, retention, and loyalty, with focus on VIC client experiences
  • Ensure full integration between events, clienteling activities, and CRM journeys
  • Act as a key coordination point between Global Marketing and regional/local teams
  • Collaborate with Retail, Wholesale, PR, Beauty, Client Engagement, and local Marketing teams
  • Plan, manage, and review event budgets across European stores, monitoring activities and execution costs
  • Define and monitor KPIs including client engagement, traffic, conversion, and ROI
  • Produce comprehensive qualitative and quantitative reports on events executed, monitoring return on investment
  • Provide structured reporting and actionable insights to optimize future activations
  • Drive continuous innovation in event formats to enhance the Valentino client journey and emotional brand connection
  • Identify opportunities to elevate experiential marketing in line with luxury industry evolution
  • Ensure all activations reinforce Valentino's values of creativity, craftsmanship, and exclusivity

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in events management within luxury fashion or high-end hospitality
  • Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and the ability to ensure consistent brand expression across activations
  • Demonstrated expertise in VIC client engagement and high-net-worth consumer marketing
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-market events with attention to detail and exclusivity
  • Experience coordinating with external agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in event budgeting, ROI tracking, and performance analytics
  • Knowledge of European retail and market nuances across multiple countries

Experience

Minimum 5–7 years of events management experience in luxury fashion, selective retailing, or ultra-premium hospitality, with demonstrated success in managing multi-market activations and VIC client engagement programs. Proven ability to manage complex event logistics, external partners, and budget oversight in a European context.

Education

University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience in luxury events management.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 55,000 per annum.
