The Client Advisor creates meaningful client experiences at Valentino by delivering Couture Service, building a clientele and achieving sales, KPI and CRM targets. The role also covers styling, appointment preparation, after-sales support, merchandise replenishment, store presentation and operational tasks, including shipping and receiving.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Master the client journey to build strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Proactively engage with existing and prospective clients and develop a clientele.
  • Deliver Valentino Couture Service impeccably at every stage: sale preparation, welcome, client discovery, product presentation, closing and farewell.
  • Understand CRM targets and actively participate in initiatives to achieve them.
  • Implement personalized outreach campaigns and use available clienteling tools to complete CRM tasks within the specified timeframes.
  • Consistently capture client data and record qualitative information.
  • Know the customer portfolio, including the VVICs and VICs under the advisor's care.
  • Consistently work to achieve sales, KPI and CRM targets.
  • Discover clients' needs and guide them across all brand categories.
  • Use knowledge of current fashion and seasonal trends to curate looks.
  • Develop product and fit knowledge through company training, tools and in-store employee fit sessions.
  • Prepare for client appointments by researching preferences, organizing merchandise and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Stay informed about new arrivals, seasonal trends and special store events.
  • Assist with sales and after-sales activities, including boutique returns, end-of-season returns, customer returns, repairs and complaints.
  • Maintain products and replenish the sales floor.
  • Know warehouse stock across all categories to replenish shelves and maximize sales.
  • Partner with the team to support seamless daily store operations and uphold presentation standards.
  • Coordinate with the Visual team on display guidelines, and verify and report relevant information to store management.
  • Know and understand company policies and procedures.
  • Use the POS system to process client transactions.
  • When no Operations team member is present, actively perform operational tasks, including shipping and receiving.

Qualifications

  • Previous luxury retail sales experience with relevant clientele-focused experience.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales results.
  • Exceptional clienteling and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills to operate a retail POS system and MS Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Additional foreign languages are a plus.
  • Action-oriented, with a drive for results.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Team player.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
