Valentino seeks a detail-oriented and commercially-minded Assistant Buyer to support management of Women's Small Leather Goods, Belts, Soft Accessories, and Fashion Jewelry categories. The successful candidate will leverage minimum 2 years of retail buying experience to identify product opportunities, analyze market trends and customer preferences, and execute merchandising strategies that drive sales and profitability. This hybrid role demands strong analytical capabilities, collaborative mindset, and resilience in a dynamic luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the buying and merchandising strategy for Women's Small Leather Goods, Belts, Soft Accessories, and Fashion Jewelry categories
- Analyze product performance data and market trends to identify merchandising and buying opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute merchandising initiatives that enhance sales and profitability
- Evaluate customer preferences and competitive landscape to inform buying decisions
- Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies aligned with business objectives
