Universo SA, a member of the Swatch Group and global leader in watchmaking, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee technical industrial projects from conception through production launch. The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and timelines, supervise testing and industrialization phases, and drive continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes and products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead technical industrial projects end-to-end, from design conception to production implementation
- Plan and coordinate project resources, budgets, timelines, and technical requirements
- Oversee multidisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Identify, anticipate, and mitigate project risks to maintain cost, schedule, and quality standards
- Supervise testing, validation, and industrialization phases while providing technical production support
- Contribute to continuous product, equipment, and process improvement through innovation and technological monitoring
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, materials science, or equivalent from HES, EPF, or similar institution
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience managing technical projects in industrial environments
- Project management certification (desirable)
