Universo SA, a member of the Swatch Group and a global leader in watchmaking, seeks an apprentice mechanical technician to join its team in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The successful candidate will perform foundational machining operations on watch components including hands and dial appliqués, assemble mechanical sub-assemblies, and maintain industrial equipment through regular servicing interventions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute basic machining operations on watch components such as hands and appliqués, adhering to precision tolerances
- Assemble mechanical sub-assemblies with attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Install and configure industrial equipment to ensure reliable operation
- Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on manufacturing installations
