The CNC Diamond-Turning Operator manages and monitors production on Universo’s CNC machining centres, ensuring quality, precision and performance. The role includes machine setup, loading workpieces, production optimisation, in-process inspections, conformity checks and first-level maintenance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare CNC machining centres.
- Load workpieces and start production runs.
- Organise work to optimise machine capacity.
- Perform in-process quality checks and self-inspections.
- Ensure the conformity of manufactured parts.
- Carry out first-level equipment maintenance.
- Manage and monitor production on CNC machining centres, ensuring quality, precision and performance.
Qualifications
- CFC qualification in mechanics or equivalent training; assistant mechanics are also accepted.
- Good command of ISO programming language.
- Ability to work independently.
- Versatility and strong organisational skills.
- Good command of measuring tools and self-inspection techniques.
- Team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Meticulous, precise and rigorous approach.
- Good visual acuity.
- Fluent French.
