Tory Burch is seeking a Senior Testing Technologist to support RTW testing, product safety and quality compliance across development and bulk production, coordinating with laboratories, suppliers and internal teams. The role is full-time and based in San Po Kong, Hong Kong.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide testing support to the ready-to-wear (RTW) supply chain managed by the New York and Hong Kong Supply Chain offices.
- Conduct risk assessments and line reviews to enforce testing protocols during both development and bulk production.
- Review and advise on RTW testing reports from approved laboratories to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and communicate with suppliers to improve testing performance.
- Manage the care-label process for RTW styles.
- Coordinate testing among third-party laboratories, internal teams and suppliers.
- Continuously review and optimize workflows for testing and care-label processes.
- Maintain all testing- and care-label-related documents and retain records of their change logs.
- Monitor the performance and services of third-party laboratory providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in textiles, science or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of solid experience in apparel testing.
- Experience in material and product assessments.
- Knowledge of international quality standards and product safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with all related parties.
- Good communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience with luxury woven fabrics is preferred.
