The Assistant Store Manager partners with the General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager to lead store operations, develop staff selling and service capabilities, monitor sales performance, grow client relationships and deliver an exceptional retail experience. The role requires 2–4 years of management experience in a luxury or service-driven environment, an undergraduate degree and flexible availability for nights, evenings, holidays and weekends; occasional overnight travel may be required. Compensation is USD 23.00, with the offer based on relevant experience and work location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager and store leadership to create a productive environment that supports exceptional customer experiences, employee performance and business results.
- Develop and maintain the selling and service skills of store staff, as well as personal skills.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations and contribute to running a successful business.
- Monitor team sales targets and metrics.
- Oversee the development of client relationships.
- Set clear goals and expectations and hold the team accountable to high standards of excellence.
- Build a high-performing talent team focused on delivering an exceptional retail experience.
- Provide store staff with guidance and support their growth.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree; a business- or fashion-related discipline is a plus.
- 2–4 years of management experience in a luxury or service-driven environment.
- Prior experience as a manager is a plus.
- Proven track record of success.
- Open availability for a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including overnight, evening, holiday and weekend shifts.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs; carry, push, pull, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb ladders, crawl, reach, bend and stand for extended periods.
