The Director, Global Product Development leads end-to-end product innovation and commercialization for Too Faced, a prestige color cosmetics and beauty brand within Estée Lauder Companies. This executive role encompasses strategic pipeline management, cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, supply chain, R&D, and regulatory teams, and team leadership to deliver trend-forward, commercially successful beauty innovations. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product innovation and development pipeline from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with Too Faced brand strategy and business growth objectives
- Identify and translate emerging consumer, market, ingredient, and technology trends into commercially viable product opportunities across makeup, skincare, and adjacent beauty categories
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Packaging Development, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, Creative, and external manufacturing partners to define product concepts, positioning, claims, and launch strategies
- Drive key product decisions across formulations, packaging, shades, claims, and product architecture while balancing creativity, technical requirements, cost constraints, and speed-to-market objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Product Development team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Support long-range innovation planning and portfolio management; evaluate product performance and consumer feedback to inform future development strategies
- Manage product development budgets and resources effectively; identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers, laboratories, and external suppliers to source new technologies and capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Marketing, Business, or related field
- 8–10+ years of progressive experience in beauty product development, with demonstrated success in prestige beauty
- 3–5+ years of people management and team leadership experience
- Proven track record of successfully launching prestige beauty products that achieved market and business objectives
- Strong technical understanding of cosmetic formulations, manufacturing processes, packaging systems, and product testing methodologies
- Experience managing multiple complex product development projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing skills
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree; global product development experience; expertise with external laboratories and contract manufacturers

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 124,200 to USD 214,450 per annum.
