Role & Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to understand digital needs and recommend original visual solutions through video.
• Organize, edit, and color-correct footage, and optimize audio to create compelling video content.
• Design and create motion graphics and video for shows, events, and instructional purposes, including graphic elements that make technical topics engaging.
• Assist the Global Education Show Team with the concept, design, and production of stage graphics, including on-site collateral setup, A/V support, presentation editing, and running stage graphics.
• Serve as a video shooter and/or editor on selected projects as directed.
• Move and assemble camera and lighting equipment as needed at shoots.
• Maintain knowledge of social media platforms and how to use them effectively for video.
• Edit video within tight time frames, applying knowledge of digital and social formats.
• Optimize audio and voice-over for final delivery.
• Lead smaller video projects, including on-site video capture and editing.
• Set an example of exceptional video standards, with a collaborative attitude and drive to produce breakthrough work.
• Provide design support to the Manager of Education Graphic Design as requested.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience with both PCs and Macs.
• Knowledge of video codecs, raw codecs, file compression, transcoding, file organization, project and sequence setup, video and audio synchronization, multicamera editing, Lumetri color tools, and different editing techniques.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent time-management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project leaders and internal departments.
• Strong videography skills; experience using DSLRs and mirrorless cameras is a plus.
