The Stockroom Specialist reports to the store management team and is responsible for managing the flow of merchandise in-store, supporting Sales Assistants with product replenishment on the sales floor to maximize sales, and organizing product storage in the most efficient manner. This role involves receiving and dispatching goods, tracking shipments, managing inventory transfers, quality control, and ensuring complete size assortments are available for sale.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ship and receive products and supplies correctly and on schedule
- Track shipments and coordinate internal stock transfers, resolving any delays or discrepancies
- Verify incoming merchandise quantity and quality
- Process and distribute invoices within scheduled timelines
- Distribute products throughout the sales floor and manage returns to ensure full size ranges are available for customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom role within retail environments
- Demonstrated dynamism, proactivity, and strong organizational and operational skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management tools
- Availability to work shift-based schedules, particularly weekends
