Tommy Hilfiger Visual Merchandising Supervisor

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient shop floor operations whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service, sales performance, and profitability
• Support the management team in overseeing personnel, product merchandising functions, business processes, and store-level results
• Participate in weekly management meetings and staff briefings to coordinate marketing, sales promotions, and operational initiatives
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding promotional campaigns and sales activities, ensuring POS systems and collateral remain current
• Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team whilst delivering exemplary visual merchandising and customer service experiences
• Foster a consistently positive store environment by treating customers and colleagues fairly and demonstrating inclusive leadership
• Oversee team training in product knowledge, store maintenance, and visual merchandising brand standards to ensure compliance
• Achieve personal sales performance targets including sales versus budget, sales per hour, and units per transaction metrics
• Execute manager-on-duty functions including store opening, closing, and floor management responsibilities
• Cultivate quality relationships with both internal and external customers, emphasizing repeat business development and customer lifetime value
• Support the management team in building a talent pipeline for key positions and identifying successors
• Uphold and manage the store's visual proposition by adhering strictly to brand guidelines and delivering exceptional presentation standards
• Monitor model store updates, implementing changes on schedule with full compliance documentation
• Collaborate with field visual merchandising consultants to map floor space, analyze collection placement, and optimize product line visibility
• Support sale event planning, execution, and guideline mapping in partnership with field visual merchandising leadership
• Manage pop-up window installations and maintain daily presentation standards to identify and resolve product display challenges
• Attend training and area support requests as required by regional management

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience with demonstrated visual merchandising or creative skills
• Previous supervisory or specialist experience within a premium or luxury retail brand
• People management background with experience resolving conflict and driving productive outcomes
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, brand guidelines, and merchandising standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to cultivate team belonging and engagement
• Proven stakeholder management abilities with collaborative leadership style
• Creative and commercially aware mindset with strong visual presentation standards
• Demonstrated integrity, ownership, and attention to detail in execution
