Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient running of the shop floor to achieve the highest levels of customer service, sales, and profit
• Support the management team in managing all personnel, product, and merchandising functions, business processes, and store results
• Participate in weekly management meetings and staff meetings, clearly communicating all marketing and sales promotions
• Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team whilst offering customers an exemplary store journey
• Foster a consistently positive store experience by treating all customers and colleagues fairly and consistently
• Ensure the team receives consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance in support of business strategy
• Achieve company standards and goals for personal sales results including sales versus budgets, sales per hour, and units per transaction
• Perform manager-on-duty functions, manage store opening and closing procedures, and oversee the sales floor
• Focus staff on the importance of building quality relationships with internal and external customers
• Ensure staff accountability for developing a repeat customer base through unparalleled service
• Enforce 'door to floor' best practices with visual merchandising directives for sales floor and back room, ensuring consistent execution
• Work with the management team to build a talent pool for key positions and identify possible successors

Qualifications

• Previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
• Demonstrated people management experience with the ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
• Strong effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships with ease
• Team player who recognises and celebrates the contributions and achievements of others
• Confidence in providing constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioural change
• Ability to work well with change, adapt quickly, and work with pace
• Energetic and authentic presence on the shop floor
• Proactive 'can do' approach with initiative to find in-store solutions

Skills
