A retail supervisor position at Tommy Hilfiger's Bridgend outlet location, responsible for driving store operations, team leadership, and exceptional customer service delivery. The successful candidate will manage floor operations, oversee personnel and merchandising functions, motivate staff to exceed sales targets, and uphold the premium brand standards that define the Tommy Hilfiger retail experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient shop floor operations achieving highest levels of customer service, sales and profit
• Support management team in managing all personnel, product and merchandising functions, business processes and store results
• Participate in weekly management and staff meetings
• Communicate all marketing and sales promotions clearly to staff
• Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating team members and delivering exemplary customer experiences
• Foster positive store environment by treating customers and colleagues fairly and consistently
• Support team delivery of business strategy through consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance
• Achieve company standards and personal sales targets including sales versus budgets, sales per hour and units per transaction
• Perform manager-on-duty functions including store opening and closing procedures
• Build and maintain focus on quality customer relationships and repeat customer base development
• Execute visual merchandising directives for sales floor and back room per company standards
• Collaborate with management team to develop talent pool and identify potential successors for key positions

Qualifications

• Previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
• Previous people management experience with ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
• Effective communication skills with ability to build relationships with ease
• Team player who recognises and celebrates contributions and achievements of others
• Confidence in giving constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioural change
