Tommy Hilfiger seeks a part-time Supervisor to lead the Oxford store's shop floor operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role involves overseeing daily shop floor management, driving sales performance against store targets, supervising staff, and ensuring consistent execution of visual merchandising and brand standards. The Supervisor reports to store management and acts as a key touchpoint in maintaining the premium retail environment that defines the Tommy Hilfiger brand experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations to achieve highest levels of customer service, sales, and profit
- Support management team in overseeing personnel, product, merchandising functions, business processes and store results
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff briefings
- Communicate all marketing and sales promotions clearly to the team
- Drive shop floor sales and motivate team members to exceed store targets whilst delivering exemplary customer experiences
- Foster positive store environment by treating customers and colleagues fairly and consistently
- Support team delivery of business strategy and ensure consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance
- Achieve company standards for personal sales targets including sales versus budget, sales per hour, and units per transaction
- Perform manager-on-duty functions, manage store opening and closing, and oversee daily sales floor operations
- Build and maintain focus on repeat customer relationships through spirited, unparalleled service
- Ensure execution of visual merchandising directives and review consistency across sales floor and back room
- Work with management team to develop talent pool and identify successors for key positions
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or specialist role within a premium or luxury brand
- Proven people management experience with ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
- Effective communicator with ability to build relationships with ease
- Team player who recognises and celebrates contributions and achievements of others
