Tommy Hilfiger seeks an experienced Supervisor for a temporary position at its Bath retail location. The role involves leading shop floor operations, managing personnel, driving sales performance, and maintaining premium brand standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, excellent customer service orientation, and the ability to inspire teams whilst adapting to the evolving retail landscape.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations to achieve optimal customer service, sales, and profitability
- Support the management team in overseeing personnel, product, merchandising functions, and business processes
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings
- Communicate marketing and sales promotions clearly to all team members
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team whilst delivering an exemplary customer journey
- Foster a positive store experience through consistent and fair treatment of customers and colleagues
- Deliver comprehensive product knowledge and store maintenance training to the team
- Achieve personal sales targets and key performance indicators including sales v budgets, sales per hour, and units per transaction
- Execute manager-on-duty functions including store opening and closing procedures
- Cultivate quality relationships with internal and external customers
- Develop accountability within the team for building repeat customer relationships through spirited, exceptional service
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are executed consistently across the sales floor and back room
- Collaborate with management to identify and develop talent for key positions, including potential successors
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
- Proven people management experience with demonstrated conflict resolution abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with ease
