Tommy Hilfiger seeks a Supervisor to lead retail operations at its flagship Tommy Jeans location in Amsterdam. The successful candidate will oversee shop floor efficiency, drive sales performance, and manage team members with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include staff leadership, sales target achievement, visual merchandising execution, and fostering a positive in-store environment aligned with the brand's accessible luxury positioning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations and achieve highest levels of customer service, sales, and profitability
- Support management team in personnel management, product merchandising, business processes, and store results
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings
- Communicate marketing and sales promotions clearly to store team
- Drive sales performance by motivating team to exceed store targets while delivering exemplary customer journey
- Foster positive store experience through fair and consistent treatment of customers and colleagues
- Provide consistent team training on product knowledge and store maintenance
- Achieve personal sales targets: sales versus budget, sales per hour, and units per transaction
- Perform manager-on-duty functions and manage store opening and closing procedures
- Emphasize quality relationships with internal and external customers
- Build repeat customer base through spirited, unparalleled service standards
- Execute 'door to floor' visual merchandising best practices and ensure consistency
- Collaborate with management to build talent pool for key positions and succession planning
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or specialist role experience within premium or luxury brand environment
- Demonstrated people management experience with ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
