Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient shop floor operations to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and maximise profit
• Lead and manage all personnel, coordinating product placement and merchandising functions
• Participate in weekly management meetings and communicate marketing and sales promotions to staff
• Drive shop floor sales and motivate the team to exceed store targets whilst creating an exemplary customer journey
• Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and colleagues fairly and consistently
• Deliver training on product knowledge and store maintenance to ensure business strategy implementation
• Achieve personal sales results and key performance indicators including sales versus budget and units per transaction
• Perform manager-on-duty functions, manage store opening and closing procedures, and oversee daily sales floor operations
• Build strong internal and external customer relationships and develop a repeat customer base through spirited service
• Execute visual merchandising directives and ensure consistency across the sales floor and back room
• Support the management team in building a talent pool and identifying potential successors for key positions

Qualifications

• Track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
• Proven people management experience with ability to resolve conflict and disagreements
• Effective communication skills with strong relationship-building abilities
• Team player who recognises and celebrates colleague contributions and achievements
• Confident in delivering constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioural change
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and work at pace
• Energetic and authentic presence on the shop floor
• Problem-solving orientation with a 'can do' mindset and initiative for in-store solutions

Skills

Experience

Previous supervisory or specialist roles within premium or luxury retail environments, with demonstrated people management experience and the ability to resolve conflict and build productive working relationships.
