Tommy Hilfiger seeks an experienced Store Supervisor to lead retail operations and drive exceptional customer service at a flagship UK location. The successful candidate will oversee shop floor efficiency, manage personnel across merchandising and sales functions, and inspire the team to exceed sales targets whilst maintaining the brand's premium standards. This role requires supervisory experience within luxury or premium retail, alongside strong people management capabilities and a passion for delivering distinctive brand experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient shop floor operations and deliver highest levels of customer service, sales and profitability
- Support the management team with oversight of personnel, product, merchandising functions, and business processes
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff briefings
- Communicate all marketing and sales promotions clearly to store staff
- Drive shop floor sales and motivate the team to exceed store targets whilst delivering exemplary customer journeys
- Foster a positive store experience through fair and consistent treatment of customers and colleagues
- Support team delivery of business strategy with consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance
- Achieve company standards for personal sales results including sales versus budget, sales per hour and units per transaction
- Perform manager-on-duty functions including store opening and closing operations
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to develop repeat business through exceptional service
- Execute visual merchandising directives consistently across sales floor and back room
- Collaborate with management to develop talent pool and identify successor candidates
Qualifications
- Previous track record in supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
- Proven people management experience with conflict resolution capabilities
- Effective communication skills with ability to build relationships
