Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with store management team to build on business opportunities and achieve sales budgets, SPH, UPT, conversion rates, wage and expense control, shrinkage targets, and profitability
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with others to grow the business and improve performance
- Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff members fairly and consistently
- Ensure door-to-floor best practices, visual merchandising directives, and sales floor and back room standards are executed and continuously reviewed
- Communicate regularly with buying team to ensure correct stock levels and demographically appropriate inventory availability
- Analyze store-level reports and develop action plans to improve results
- Communicate with staff daily on individual sales goals, key performance indicators, store results, and product information
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation processes
- Provide training and coaching for employees at daily, weekly, and monthly intervals with appropriate documentation
- Lead weekly management meetings and regional meetings while contributing to strategic discussions
- Make commitments and decisions on available information even under stressful and changing conditions
- Set challenging but attainable goals emphasizing service quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
- Coordinate action plans while considering consequences and budget decisions
