Tommy Hilfiger is hiring a Temporary Stockroom Associate on a part-time basis in Camarillo, California. The role supports shipping and receiving, stockroom organization, inventory accuracy, sales-floor replenishment and visual standards while delivering customer service and supporting store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process HUB, third-party and special-order shipments and receipts.
- Maintain an organized stockroom and off-site storage area.
- Ensure merchandise styles and sizes are well represented on the sales floor to maximize sales volume.
- Maintain visual presentation standards consistent with the division’s philosophy and direction when placing and replenishing merchandise.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels on the sales floor.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication.
- Develop proficiency in operational policies and procedures.
- Manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Make customer service the top priority and follow all customer-service guidelines.
- Motivate associates to meet goals and objectives; demonstrate teamwork; take initiative and exercise sound judgment; and lead by example.
- Maintain a professional image and conduct, follow the divisional dress code, work as part of the store team, and treat store staff professionally, courteously and respectfully.
- Work rotating hours as assigned by management, take an active role in personal development, communicate concerns to management, and support company and management decisions.
- Ensure paperwork is accurate and follow company policies and procedures, including the Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program.
- Maintain productivity on non-selling tasks, including shipment processing, inventory counts and price changes; follow direction and complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Maintain the store’s appearance to divisional standards and replenish merchandise promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of store merchandise and inform management of merchandise-related issues.
- Set up the POS promptly and effectively; execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed.
- Maintain stockroom organization, including merchandise, fixtures and hardware, and keep the area clean.
